Future Invisibility Cloak!

Woah, I never thought this would actually come true, but it seems like it will be in the next few years or so. An invisibility cloak made from Calcite crystals. It would be awesome to get my hands on one of these things. Read the the article from the link below for more info!

  1. Yeah I've heard about this before, it's one of the many future sci fi tech things that's actually viable and close to being in use

  4. Oh man... The possibilities are as endless as they are abusable :)

I guess it was just a matter of time to get from radar invisibility to invisibility in the visual spectrum. I give it 20 years to military invisibility cloaks, 40 years 'til you can buy an invisibility slanket on the home shopping network :)

(I've just started a tech blog of my own, btw: http://mrte.ch/9zk)

  7. haha, i first I laughed because it said they could only hide millimeter sized objects, but then he said it could readily be scaled up for things as big as even submarines. that's crazy. too bad none of us could ever afford one haha
